🎯 What Is a License Key?
Your license key unlocks full access to AI SQL Tuner Studio features, including deadlock analysis, code review, and index tuning. License keys are configured in AI SQL Tuner Studio and tied to specific editions:

| Free | Supports SQL Server Developer Edition |
| Standard | Adds support for SQL Server Standard Edition, Managed Instance General Purpose, Azure SQL and Fabric Database, limited to 2 instances |
| Pro | Adds support for all editions of SQL Server, limited to 2 instances |
| Corporate | Adds support for unlimited instances |
🛠 How to Activate Your License
In AI SQL Tuner Studio, navigate to the License Configuration section:
- Select your edition from the dropdown (Free, Standard, Pro, or Corporate).
- Enter your license key (not required for the Free edition).
- Check “Activate license” to enable validation. This should only be checked the first time to activate the license. After the first run it should be unchecked.
- Click Save license.
✅ Activation Success Message
License activated for John Doe. Product: AI SQL Tuner Pro Expires: 2026-10-23
Your license is now stored in AI SQL Tuner Studio and will be validated automatically on future runs.
